Is the RAM on this card the 3.6 ns RAM that's been excellent for overclocking? I'm pretty interested in this card, so hopefully it is. 🙂 Some of the reviews from Newegg.com have been showing 300/600 overclocks which aren't too shabby. Anyone have this card that can vouch for its OCing abilities?

That is a review of the gf3 ti 200. He is asking for a gf4 ti4200. It comes with 3.6ns hynix ram, which should hit 300/600, and the even more. Hope that helps.

it's 4ns hynix ram..mine will do 630mhz with some extra cooling, but runs 615 all day with stock cooling.

Hynix is usally 3.6ns, Samsung is usually 4.0ns. Best to double check (read it from the RAM chips, 2nd line last 2 numbers). 4.0ns only technicaly runs up to 500mhz, but for 4200 cards it seems that 540mhz is about the average attained. 3.6ns or faster will get you to 600mhz, going beyond this starts to bring in the limitations of the 4200 cost cutting techniques, but since you're likely to either get 300/550 or 300/600 does it really matter. The 4600 is only clocked at 300/650, and you are talking very small diffs for less than half the price! Don't worry about manu, worry about price or the RAM used.
