Abit Siluro Geforce 4 128mb Ti4400 ?

I am interested in buying this for 225 for Newegg. The abit website claims their is an optional vivo available for this card. Where is this option available?

Toms hardware has all the 4400 and 4600's and their features listed. The MSI comes with Vivo (video recording capabilities) It happens to be the loudest however and Toms said it also has one of the worst 2d qualities. I was originally going to go with it because of vivo and the software bundle (bunch of games), but the Abit is $10-20 cheaper and the quietest card reviewed. With one of the best 2d qualities (out of the 4400 and 4600)

I thougt exactly the same thing. Then on the abit site they said vivo was available as an option. I still don't know if this is a different card they are talking about. Or something that can be added on.

A local (to vancouver) retailer (anitec.ca) is selling the VIVO version of this card. I think it's just a different retail package that comes with the connectors for video in as well as ulead video studio software to handle the video capture and editing. All the abit 4400s have a conexant video encoder chip built on to them, so the theoretical abilty to capture video exists on all the abits. I'm just not sure if you'd be able to get the cables you need aftermarket if you bought the regular version of the siluro.

btw- this is the card I'm planning on getting. It looks to be quite one of the best of the 4400s at a great price. 🙂

Does somebody found the table with resolutions and refresh rates of the ABIT? I couldn't find it on ABIT's website, and there's no manual to download.

After checking the MSI specs, how come my V7700 Deluxe has better refresh rates?
V7700:
1600x1200: 120Hz@16bits, 100Hz@32bits
1920x1200: 100Hz@16bits, 85Hz@32bits
1920x1440: 85Hz@16bits, 75Hz@32bits
2048x1536: 75Hz@16bits, 75Hz@32bits
MSI 8871:
1600x1200: 85Hz@16bits, 85Hz@32bits
1920x1200: 75Hz@16bits, 75Hz@32bits
1920x1440: absent
2048x1536: 60Hz@16bits, 60Hz@32bits

I'va also checked the ASUS, but Tom's gave it a 3 for video quality:
V8440:
1600x1200: 120Hz@16bits, 100Hz@32bits
1920x1200: 100Hz@16bits, 85Hz@32bits
1920x1440: 85Hz@16bits, 75Hz@32bits
2048x1536: 75Hz@16bits, 75Hz@32bits

I also care about the noise level, as my computers are in my room and are up all the time.

Input on the PNY and VisionTek 4400 offerings are welcome as well (although Tom said that the video output was less than stellar).

If the ABIT has proper refresh rates (2048x1536@75Hz/32bits), it'll be a quick sale. If not, I'll wait some more.
