ABIT SH6 video card problem...

I have a Abit SH6 (my first i815 board) and installed a TNT2/M64 video card while running a Celeron300A. The board cannot detect the video card I put in. It works OK with the onboard video, and also works OK with a GeForce2MX card. I tried even using the "fail-safe" default BIOS settings and still no luck, I tried changing AGP to 2x and set different FSB frequency...anyone got any ideas?
