Abit SA6R Beeping when installing programs

I have an Abit SA6R i815E
pent 3 733 FC
384mb ram
30 Gig ata/100 7200rpm Seagate Baracuda III
CDRW
CDROM
Everytime I install a program or burn a cd or download from the web my mobo beeps 6 times
Has anyone else had this problem with the SA6R?
I havent update the BIOS yet.
Please help...
 
Most bios' nowadays have an antivirus setting (usually for the boot sector.) If this built-in antivirus program is enabled it might cause this behavior.
