I read a couple months ago that you could fax Abit and somehow cicumvent the $25 fee the charge for RMAing a motherboard. I have a BE6-II that went south on me and want to get it replaced so I can put a backup computer together. Thanks for any help!

I called directly to 510 623 0500 x110... nice lady named Donna... can't guarantee that she still works there! She faxed me an RMA questionnaire, I faxed it back, she sent me an RMA#, I sent the mobo (out of warranty BP6), and received a replacement in about 10 days... no charge! :D

Abits pretty good with the RMA if you call them and get a RMA number first.
