Hi, i'd like some advice regarding which motherboard i should get. Im looking for a uATX mobo, and have narrowed it down to either:

Abit IS-10 i865G [i cant find the is-12 (on-board firewire)= anywhere]

Intel 865GLCL

The specs on both are identical except the onboard sound. Abit uses AC '97 codec and Intel uses SoundMAX 4XL AD1985. I know about the issue with abit's line-in jacks, but that doesnt bother me. Im content with either on-board sound. So I guess it just comes down to experience with each brand (personal preference) and... price. The price difference between these two boards on newegg is $32, abit - $70 and intel - $102.

Any suggestions?

I've had Intel boards and have no complaints, but I've also had many more Abits and every one of them has been superb in performance and stability. I wouldn't hesitate for a second to go with an Abit even if both boards were the same price.

Abit. They had some issues in the past, but in the last 2-3 years have had practically nothing but solid products, and all very well designed.
Intel doesn't lack in quality, but the premium is too much.

 for my departed Siluro.

Thanks guys! hm... i forgot to mention that this particular Abit board seems to have no OC funcionality, according to the one user review on newegg. However, I dont plan on OCing this rig =)
