abit nv7 bios update question

i just finished putting this machine together and checked their site for the update.

the update states that it reduces the cpu temp by 10 increments; does that mean 10 degrees? i'm just curious because i cant actually update my bios since i dont have a floppy drive right now but i'd like to guage my temps a lil better.

right now i've got 47C idle... so is it actually around 37C right now?

BTW this is an xp1800
