Abit NF8 now available

Abit NF8 is now available at NewEgg.com, but I've not been able to find much talk about it here nor any reviews on the 'net.

Anyone have any opinions or user experience on this board that they can share? Thanks.

Abit forums

Some complain about multipliers and BIOS vDIMM values

with NF4 here now .. I'm going to wait

Maybe you could take a look over at nforcehq's forums. They specialize in Nforce boards and have an Abit section. Someone over there, suggested the Abit NF8 to me, although I ended up going with the Epox 8KDA3J. Can't beat the $69 pricetag for a Nforce3gb board

I'm actually a member of NForcersHQ and Abit forums. I guess I just like it here the best. I suppose I will have to go elsewhere, there is no interest in this board at AT.

I am posting this now on my family's new budget PC:

Abit NF8
Newcastle 3000+, revision DH7-CG according to CPU-Z, cooling by Zalman AlCu-7000A
512MB Kingston ValueRAM PC3200

I am not doing any overclocking though 🙁 Don't have the time to play with it and I'm going back to LA next Monday

So far this build is pretty solid, no problems at all but then I'm running everything at stock 🙂
