Just got my first SATA drive. Do I need to do anything special to get Windows XP to install on it or just like installing it on a standard IDE drive? Didn't know if the pressing F6 with a drivers disk was needed. This will be my first HD upgrade since 2000 on my main rig. Been using a WD Cavier 40GB all this time with no problems. Just getting tired of BF2 maps taking 2 minutes to load.
 
AFAIK you must install SATA drivers via floppy during windows setup (the press F2 thingie) if you use a non-native SATA controller.
