Abit NF7-S voltages

Hi guys,
Helping a friend gather some information. He has a 1700+ currently clocked to 2.08GHz(180x11.5) on the NF7-S v2.0, and MBM5.3.0.0
His temps are ok, but his PSU readings seem a bit on the low side. The +3.3V reads only slightly above 3V and the Vcore is 1.47V despite him setting it to 1.525V.

I'm wondering which voltage sensor you guys are using for MBM5, and are your voltages around right?

Thanks.

the abit undervolts the vcore so it's not unusual for it to read 1.47 even though it's set to 1.525

Thanks, what about the other rails though?

lets see...

the vdimm overvolts... by about .1volts so if it's set to 2.7, it's actually 2.8

vcore undervolts as we figured out...

temps are also reported high...

😉 Yeah stability etc is the best guide, it should be clear if the volts are too far out of wack. Also tell him to consider upping the voltage from 1.5v to 1.6v (ish) as this is where TbredB should be and as such isn't technicly overvolting it, expect something close to XP2800+ speed even with that new 'default' voltage. Also ensure his CPU HSF is up to scratch!

Thanks. He's currently running at 180x11.5, which is around 2070MHz, so that's somewhere between a 2400+ or 2500+ I guess. He's prime95'ed it for a while to check for stability and so far there hasn't been any problems. His HSF is a SLK800 with a TT Smartfan spinning at 4000rpm so I think his cooling department should be up to snuff. I told him there's still a lot of potential in the chip, and he said he'd try it later on when he's more free. Right now he has work and stuff.

Thanks again.
