This is the only real thing that is stopping me from ordering all the parts from my computer. I would go with the DFI right away since in most reviews it is better rated then the NF7-s, but I heard they have poor support and NF7-s is more stable. I don't want to go thru the hassle of returning the item, but from reading newegg's review most people's DFI were stable. I am planning to run a 2500+ mobile barton overclocked to 3200+. Any comments on DFI's stabllity and support?

If it isn't stable, Newegg should exchange it for an NF7-S without a problem but I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger. I'm actually kicking myself for getting an NF7-S and not the DFI. The Abit is a great board, but the overclocking I've seen on the DFIs is astounding.

I've been looking at this board too, have not heard anything about instability...what reviews are you referring to?

I have the DFI lanparty "A" revision and have used the NF7-S on a half dozen builds for family and friends.

You can't make a bad choice. But with regard to your question on DFI support...

Let me assure you the support is fantastic. Go here:
Supported DFI BBS

AngryGames is a full time DFI employee dedicated to online support. Best support I have ever had with any manufacturer hands down. TONS of resources on performance BIOS' etc. No one else comes close.

That said the NF7-S is by far the most popular board here at AT and you'll get plenty of support here for that one too.

I'm loving my NF7-s v2 but I wish it would go higher than 2.9v on the vDimm w/o modding the board. Other than that I have no complaints.

Also they have a DFI rep in the AMDMB forums who`s very helpful, btw I own a DFI NF2 Infinity Ultra board as well and it was easy to setup and is rock stable.

Are any of you DFI owners using the RAID 1.5 option? If so, is it really as great as it sounds?

Thanks :)

Blain I tried RAID 1.5 on the DFI and there's quite a performance hit compared to RAID0...I'd rather back up RAID0 cause even if 1.5 catches a virus, it's :frown: time
