There is no possible way to know unless it specifies it's equiped with the nForce 2 ultra 400 or you can see the box which also has a big sticker naming the chipset... but even if you can't see it, 9/10 it will be ver 2.0

I got my NF7-S from newegg.com MONTHS ago and it was a 2.0. I can see no way you wouild get any other unless you got a refurb.
