I just saw that too, kinda weird with it being cheaper than the open-box version. Is rev.2 the good one or newest or whatever?

Run, don't walk to get this board. Awesome price for an awesome board. I've had mine for about 3-4 months now and haven't had any problems.

My Intel PC that I built just last November is running great (using it to type this), the AMD PC I just finished building using an AMD T'bred 1700+ is without a monitor and just sitting there for now. But at this price I cannot resist buying it and doing another AMD build. Thanks for the heads up.

If this is really a rev. 2, then this is a super hot deal. Plenty of features and performance for a hot price, reviews for this board are "Editor's Choice" and those A rankings.

From ZipZoomFly:
Googlegear Changes Name to ZipZoomFly.com
New Name Reaffirms Focus on High Performance Computer Products

Newark, CA, Sept 15, 2003 - Googlegear, a leading e-tailer of computer components, today announced that its company name and website address has changed to ZipZoomFly.com.

"We had originally named the company Googlegear because our goal at the time was to offer a seemingly endless selection of products," said President/CEO May Chan. "'Googlegear' reflected this purpose, but as our focus changed, so did our need for a new identity. Our commitment now is to deliver the highest performance computer products to our customers. ZipZoomFly.com signifies our promise to stay on top of the pace at which technology moves. Our current annual growth rate is in excess of 100%, and we expect the new identity to continue pushing us to new levels."

Great deal the NF7-S.

Doesn't the v2 of this board support 400mHz FSB?

The description at ZZF lists up to 333mHz FSB, which is what v1 and v1.2 supported.

I'm running two of these on my home system and have installed everything else out there...
NF7-S v2 is the best of the best.
Makes both >$90 2500 Bartons run 400FSB which comes out to a stated XP=3200 (although 3200 is not entirely quite accurate).:D

Five or six thumbs up!

PS Make sure that you use some good PC3200 memory (preferrably two 512s.)

Yea that happens to me a lot. I guess it is good I didn't buy it. I mean if I bought this motherboard I would "have" to get a better athlon processor and pc3200 ram.
