Abit NF7-S Digital Audio Mod...

Just saw this over @ the AMDMB forums. This is an extremely simple mod that only costs $8 and adds a second optical port and a coax port. Either of the ports can be used for input, output, or both. When I get my NF7-S this week, I plan on doing this in addition to a NB cooling mod. I'm planning on setting up the optical port to be a input, and the coax as an output. This will expand nicely on the one digital output on the board already.

Also, this mod should work with the 8RDA+ as well as long as you use the correct pins...

Well...been spending a bit of time in the Politics forum, and taking a little break from PC stuff. I have been concentrating on some upgrades and general maintanence to my Mustang.

If you do this for the 8RDA+, you will have full soundstorm. You could also buy the optical header from Epox, but it's more $$. Good luck..
