PC2100 = 133Mhz FSB, the 2500+ runs at 166Mhz FSB, so at best you might be able to overclock your Ram to 166Mhz.

So if you can afford it get some PC3200 ram. If not juts hope you ram can do 166Mhz and give it a try

No, PC1600 = 100MHz FSB. PC2100 = 133MHz FSB. :)

My Abit Nf7-s had a fit when I tried PC2100 RAM in it. I don't know if it even supports it. The thing just made a loud solid beeeeeeeep at me. The memory was pulled from my other working system. Got the PC3200 and it was sweet.

I'm using some old Pc1600 ddr ram for my nf7-s. Suprisingly it works great at 173 FSB. They are Crucial brand... if that makes different?

Could you possibly run two sticks at PC1600 and still get PC3200 performance, or will there be a penalty from that?
