OK so i used MBM5 with my ABIT KG=7 and it was very simple. However with my NF7-S im getting option for reading the temp settings from numerous settings like 'Winbond 1 Diode', Winbond 2N3904 and Winbond1. Is the diode always the most accurate temp reading to use? It may sound like a newbie question, but im just unfamiliar with me new board and i want to get it sorted as soon as possible!
EDIT - My BIOS readings show 45C while the diode (MBM5) stays at 58C which is more accurate, arrrgghhh this is annoying me, is there a certain BIOS which is best for temp readings or should I stick with MBM5?
Also, with the FSB/DRAM ratio in the BIOS is 6/6 always the best ratio to use for performance? I know it put the RAM/FSB in syns, but so does 3/3 and 4/4, any advice would be eternally appreciated, LOL!
