ABIT NF7-S 2.0 doesent boot.

Its my brothers main rig, One day when he tried to turn it on, it didnt anymore.
When you press the power on button, it starts doing one beeeeep, between two seconds...

I first check the PSU, and its OK, I checked the VGA and its OK, I Checked the memories and are OK, then I Checked the CPU, and is also fine.

THE PROBLEM that I found is that the North Bridge Fan, doesent run, so, I made a CLEAR CMOS, with the NB cooler connected with the NB cooler disconnected. The Same Happens.

So, if I buy a new NB fan, is it possible for this Mobo to run again?

Thank you all very much.

This mobo is well known for having NB fan problems...although I dont think it would cause a POST error...but then I never had the fan fail on my NF7...many people just replace the NB fan/heatsink with a quality Heatsink like the Zlaman ZM-NB47J. But as I said...I havent heard of the fan failure to run causing the system to not POST. Check this link for award bios beep codes and see which one more closely matches what you are hearing...

Also check the error code on the mobo lcd code display..go to this site to check the error code definition.

Hello, my mobo doesent have any lcd to view an error code.
I checked the Beedp Codes and it should be a memory problem, but I tested with three different DDR modules and The situation is the same. I also checked with an OCZ PC4200 Memory and the same happens.

Maybe the motherboard is broken?
