my computer has been giving me fits lately, very unstable with gaming most noticebly, but on HL, not something like Halo or BF1942.
I had recently come to the conclusion that one of the sticks of memory was bad, as it gave me like 3000 errors at it's rated timings (400mhz, 6-3-3-2) in memtest. I go to play last night with the stick that tested good and I get the same error. I reverted to 3.6 drivers with same problems, and then went to Mwarhead's 2.45Remix nforce2 drivers and the computer would not go past the last known good config screen! another format...
quick format so i could use my computer and it blue screens just after install! do a full format overnight, and i will have to finish install today when i get home from work. what could be the problem?
temps are fine, highest i ever got was around 45c cpu and like 28c system temps. voltages look low on my antec 400w psu, around 3.25 on +3.3v and like 11.67 on +12v I had run my 9800np for a few months with no issues though, with both sticks of RAM. I just went to one 512 stick (assumed good stick, by memtest) and I still have issues.
Please help, this is driving me crazy...
