ABIT NF7 motherboard for AMD Athlon won't recognize SATA :(

Can anyone help me figure out what's wrong? members here reccomended I buy the board, it's awesome, and i also found out that my CPU is unlocked 😀

my only problem is that it does not recognize SATA....i set it to boot from SATA, and it doesn't detect that, and i checked to make sure it was enabled in the "Onboard PCI Device", which it was. Anybody have the same problem?

Anything to get me rolling is greatly appreciated 🙂
 
What exactly isn't recognizing the SATA drive? BIOS? Trying to install windows on it? Not showing up in my computer????
