Abit NF-7S and CPU Choice

What games does she play?

That is an older socket A board, meaning it'll have trouble playing any newer games even with the fastest socket A cpu, so you might as well get the fastest socket a sempron that'll fit in your budget.

Um, older board it is, but not for Socket A; its actually one of the best Socket A boards, ever. I'd grab an Athlon XP Mobile and overclock it as you should easily see 3200+ speeds (2.2GHz) if not much more. Otherwise I wouldn't look to spend too much more than $100 that you'd spend (if not less than that) on an XP-M, because if you spend any ammount higher, you might be better off buying a Socket 754 motherboard and a Sempron 64
