Abit makes NIC's???

Flipping through the DHCP table on my neighbor's router.... I had no idea that ABIT made NIC's....

Do you guys have any idea what OEM's might use ABIT components?

00:50:8D is the prefix in question....

acemcmac, the network controller built on a motherboard will typically carry the MAC address prefix of the motherboard manufacturer, NOT the prefix of the controller chip. For example, I have two Abit motherboard systems in my lab with built-on Intel gigabit network adapters, and both of them have an Abit MAC prefix.
