I have a kx7-333 motherboard with an Athlon XP 1700+. I see that it will support upto 2100+ for sure, my question is how high of a processor will this support? I read that it will take Socket A 266mhz FSB chips. Does this mean I can use an XP-M in it? i may just end up getting more memory becuase I dont think the 256 is cutting it. It boots up very quickly and when I log onto my name in WinXP i get to the desktop quickly but it is unresponsive to anything for a while.
