Abit KV8??

Abit usually seems to make pretty good motherboards, i was wondering if the KV8 (not MAX3) was any good... I'm looking for something to put together an A64 system (without shelling out 140, i don't really need motherboard frills like more connectors or better on-board sound/video). Suggestions?

Well look at the Chaintech nForce3 250 board. Cost $99 and has true SATA, PCI/APG locks, etc...
