Building a rig for my bro using the following components.

Athlon64 3000
Abit KV8 Pro
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
2x Corsair ValueSelect RAM 512 DDR400
Antec TruPower 430 PS
Sony floppy
His old optical drives and hard drives.

I can't post with this new setup. I've tried taking out 1 stick of ram, using just one hard drive, but the motherboard powers down. There are no post beeps and the post codes are the following 83 9C 9E 9F.

I guess I'll to RMA it to newegg. I'm in a tight bind though since my bro is moving back to school this upcoming Saturday. :( I guess I'll have to order another mobo since the RMA won't get here in time?

Or maybe I did something idiotic and can't get it to come up?

Give it an out-of-case experience like shown here :D Seat the video card firmly, since new AGP slots can be stiff and fake you out. You did remember to plug in your ATX12V cable and your video card's power cable, right?
