ABit kt7raid newbie question #2? can DO0-RUN- RUN a Duron 1 GHZ

Can the raid be used as ide 3 and 4 channel.

how would that work?

Does this board support the Duron 1000mhz? (the one from newegg for $52)

abit does not mention which core/revision of cpus and the mobo versions

the RAID ports can only be used for other harddrives. You cannot use ATAPI (cd-rom/rw, zip drive, etc) on the raid controller, but it can use regular harddrives.
Just install 'em, and when the HPT screen shows up after POST, push ctrl+h (or whatever the keys are) to enter the BIOS. Then make sure all the HDs are being detected correctly.
