I have my abit kt7a installed in my box and everything looked good to go, but when I tried to boot off the winXP cd it would load all the driver, say "Now Starting Windows" and then go to a black screen (this was with my Ti4200). I thought it might be a video issue, so I put in the mx200 PCI. Same deal. I tried to install slackware, and that went very well (a sign from the gods?).
I brought my system to work (where I am now) and continued to screw with it. I finally stuck in an ATi PCI card (mach64) and the install for XP is working fine...... what gives? I'm going to install XP using this card and swap it out for the GF4 once everything is up, but i'd hate to do this evertime I format.....
