WEll today i buy this board with a 1000MHz T-Bird.

The board is the coolest board i had in my life...

The stupid things that i read in some sites for this board ARENT TRUE!!!
The board is very stable , and most of the problems people have ,are from their hardware and not from the board... (thinks like:My duron 600 isn't running at 12*160 MHz!! so the boars sucks!....)

Well i must say that my T-Bird running at 9*137=1233 with default voltage and everything is rock stable... Soon i will probe for the highest overclock...

I am suprised that an early 266MHz board is so high quality board.

That's all for now.

If you thinking or scaring about this board(like me till yestarday),dont hesitate, but just go and get it !!
YOU WILL LOVE IT 🙂

I got a KT7A-Raid.. I love it too... the stability is great!! of course win98SE is still leaking memory out all over the damn floor(yuck.. SDRAM on my shoes... you know how hard that is to get off!) Thinking of going to Win2k... I have the upgrade CD but im Skeerd. 🙂

Don't be. I'm running Win2k on my KT7A-RAID and it's very happy. Plus with DirectX 8, I can play any game that I have, and I don't reboot. Much better than Win98!

I have 1Ghz T-Bird too with Abit kt7a raid. But I can never get my multiplier down to 9. Rafailo how did you do it? I am running still on 10x100. Suggestion is really appreciated.

Did you pencil in the L-1 bridges yet? That was what I had to do, and now my 1Ghz T-bid is doing 1066 (8@133) and that 133 bus is without a doubt the best thing going for these chips!

Definately go for Win2K. I put it on my KT7-RAID a couple weeks ago and haven't looked back. No more wiping up that SDRAM off your shoes.😛

I agree on Win2k. The gaming performance of Win2K has improved greatly. I have an Elsa Gladiac overclocked to 235/400 on my KT7A-RAID, and even on AGP 2X, I get a score in 3DMark of 9100...🙂

Ahhhh the classic Abit syndrom..... don't assume because you got a good board everyone else is on crack and their board is good. Abit makes good boards.... when they work. If Abit kicked up their QA maybe Id starting using them in machines I sell, but it hasn't happened yet.
