Abit KT7a-RAID v1.0 and Athlon XP?

I want some definite answers, sorry if it was asked before

Are XP processors able to run on this KT7a-RAID v1.0 board? According to Abit the answer is no, but I saw in another forum someone got it working. Any info is greatly appreciated

I believe that you may get one to work but the processor features will not be utilized due to no BIOS upgrade for the XP from Abit.
