I just switched over to raid and I think by sharing irq's with my pci devices is causing lockups, how the hell can i give the high-point controler its own irq?

heres the configuration.

2 pci devices

1 agp

High-point controller

usb

acpi

Thanks for the help=)

posting your irq list as well as saying what OS & driver versions you're using could be a big help! :)

All Abit raid boards share an IRQ between PCI slot 5 and the Highpoint controller. You cannot have a PCI card in slot and still use RAID. Well, I take that back, you CAN make it work, but it's best to leave slot 5 empty if you're using raid. That's how I run raid on my KT7R, which is essentially the exact same board you have, minus the KT133A chip.
