Need your expertise........

I would like to try running my PC using 133/33 (133x7.5 = 1000Mhz) but everytime I tried it won't even post(black screen) I think I need to up the power supply to 1.85 but I'm scared..........Thanks

I don't think it's locked cause I already tried 107/33, got up to 1080mhz running fine except for 3dmark2000(blue screen)...........thanks

if you ran at 1080 on a 107 bus, then that's probably still on the 10X multiplier on your original 'b' thunderbird. (107x10 is close enough to 1080)...

in order to get a 7.5 multiplier, you need to connect those L1 bridges on your chip using a pencil, conductive pen, or whatever else people use nowadays...then it'll work great. i just used a pencil. if you don't unlock it, and try to change the multiplier in the bios, all you get is a black screen, and no post...

Yeah, you're not likely to get 1333MHz out of a 1000MHz T'bird. Well maybe if you stumbled on one of these AXIA stepping chips, but even then I think you'd be lucky. Do the conductive pen trick.
