Abit KT7A. No Video

Hi

I recently installed an ATI 8500LE. The card worked fine the first four or three times I booted the computer. After that, I didn't get any video. I discovered that resetting the bios (i had to do it with the jumpers cuz i dont even the to the bios) fixed the problem.

After a couple days, though, I get no video , no matter what. Everything else seems to be working just fine.

Any suggestions?

I suspect that the bios reset fixing it was a fluke. It is possible that you just got lucky and it worked or that you wiggled something by accident (like the vid card) and it just happened to work.

I dunno though.. sounds pretty strange. Maybe you have a power shortage?

I found this on abit's site: After tried some overclocking or non-standard settings inside the BIOS, the system failed to boot up and nothing was displayed on the screen. Is the mainboard dead? Do I need to return it to where I bought from or go through an RMA process?
I followed the directions on the page, but it didn't work.
