Abit KT7A Mobo-Memory Question???? HELP!!!

I just bought an Abit KT7A with a 1.2 Gig Athlon 266 FSB. I installed 256 Meg of PC133 Memory. Will this work with the 266 FSB or do I need faster RAM? I kept on having timing problems and I'm wondering if this is the cause...Thank you in advance for your help!!
