The problem is that I cannot get agp 4x working on my Abit kt7a 1.1 in combination with a Leadtek WinFast A250 LE geforce4 videocard.
I tried using various combinations of BIOS settings but in all cases 3d aplications just lockup when agp 4x is enabled in the bios. However it DOES work in agp 2x mode so the board should be able to work it.
Does anyone have this setup working? (Abit kt7a with Geforce4 4200 TI and agp 4x mode enabled)
Please give me some suggestions on VIA drivers/ motherboard BIOS revs. / AGP drivers or tools that might solve it.
Currently I use:
Via 4in1 4.38
DirectX 8.1
Nvidia 29.42 Detonators
