Did a search on this and it looks like I'm alone. But here's what I get. Right now I'm running the WZ01 bios for my KT7-RAID, but when I try and install the WZ(released) or the YH I get bios checksum errors. I checked with Paul's KT7 FAQ's and they mention the ISA may be overclocked. Well even though my processor is overclocked my busses aren't(I get the same problem when my cpu isn't overclocked, anyway). When I'm running the WZ or YH bios' I have noticed that my ISA modem is no longer listed in the device/IRQ list that is displayed just before Windows begins loading.
I know I'll figure it out, it's just that I won't be able to get to it till Saturday because I work 12 hours a day. I was wondering if anybody else had a simular problem and how they fixed it? I'd appreciate the help, after all I'd rather be using the computer not figuring out why it's freakin on me.

Ive got the same board and havent had that problem. I am now running YH after every version of WZ.

Try redownloading the bios files from a different site, and you are flashing from a boot disk right?

I've tried two of the Taiwanese sites and one of the European sites. Some of the mirror sites don't have both the WZ and YH files. Yes, I'm booting from the floppy. After flashing I can get to the DOS prompt and into safe mode(Win98). Ran windows start-up in bootlog mode, looks like I'm hanging up on HTREE, what ever that is. I'll have to look into it when I get the chance. But when I reboot, I get the "CMOS checksum error loading defaults". Main thing that's got me puzzled is that my ISA card isn't showing up in the BIOS device/IRQ list like it used to. Once I get into windows I'll have to take a look and see if windows is seeing it or not. Thanks for relpying.
