ok, i have some siemens pc133 3-3-3 memory. I believe it's 7.5 ns but i'll have to check to make sure. Under the advanced chipset features in the bios you can specifically set your ram speeds for each slot (pretty neat) but i've left it at 8/10 cuz the other options are normal, fast, turbo... i don't think 7.5 is turbo, but perhaps fast? can anyone help me or clarify what exactly fast/turbo mean? thanks in advance

anyone know? I tried it at Fast for my ram and everything worked fine, i saw no gains, actually a very marginal decrease in benchmark from 8/10

Actually the Fast setting is faster than the Turbo setting, so try Turbo first.

thanks guys, i took a look and here's the results of my tests:

all other optimazations were enabled:

8/10 (no Fast R-W cache) - 437/510
8/10 - 438/514
Normal - Locked on POST
Medium - 437/510
Fast - 448/529
Turbo - 449/529

Turbo seems to work the best for my stick, for reference i'm running Siemens PC133 128 mb cas3 7.5ns... i don't know if it's stable, but i'm gonna keep it where it is and find out.

EDIT: i put it at cas 2 to see if my ram could do it, it's only rated at cas3. It did, the results: 461/558!
