When ever i look in the "System Event Viewer" i see a stream of CDROM errors and the same for my SCSI card!
Also when i plug in my PC it will not initialise the Plextor 121032TA unless i disconnect the external scanner from the SCSI card, reboot, shutdown, reconnect the scanner - now the CDROM initialises! grrr
Ive tried downloading the latest drivers for my SCSI card, latest firmware for the burner but still no joy? hmmm?
My SCSI card is in slot 6 - sharing with AGP yeah?
NIC is in slot 2 - sharing with nowt?
SBLive in slot 4 - also sharing with nothing?
Plex 121032TA is on its own as primary on IDE2
HD on IDE3 ATA100
PCI slot 3 is a no go as it would share with the Highpoint yeah?
My NIC should be ok sharing IRQ with display yeah? So would my SCSI card behave better being in PCI slot 2 so that it does not share?
Any help would be much appreciated as i dont want to have to RMA this mobo as i cant live without my PC whilst waiting for it to be sorted
