Yeah, that's where I got it, BUT I do remember that I had one hell of a time getting it to execute after D/L'ing....bet that's it!

A question for you guys:

I ordered the kt7 plus a t-bird 800 and 256 meg of ram, also 2 seagate barracuda II ATA/66 20.4 gig drives. What is the best way to set-up and install the raid 0 striped array?
Should I set up OS on other drive, install driver, and ghost it on the raid, or should I just partition/format/install OS on the raid-0 array?
I would like to hear your experience on this...

Reaper.
I don't know that it's necessary to go through all that.
It really depends on what OS you are planning on running.
If winodws NT/2000, then it's really a peace of cake to create the RAID then do the install. If win98, it's a little tougher, but still doable.

For Win200
1) Create the Stripe set, make sure and set the first drive as bootable.
2) Boot off the 2000 CD
3) Watch the bottom of your screen for a message about pressing F6 to isntall third party drivers, and then do so, when it says to.
4) Put in the raid floppy that came with your MOBO and let W2K install the driver.
All the rest is the same as any other W2K install.

For NT: Same as above, but it will ask you bluntly if you have a disk. You don't have to watch for the Press F6 question.

For Windows 98:
Got to the Unofficial KT7 FAQ and click on Disks on the left hand side. Go down about half way to "How do I install Windows directly on my RAID disks?"

Hope that helps.
