Abit kt7 Raid....How much CPU power can it take?

i have an abit kt7 and am thinking of upgrading my 800 socket A thunderbird to something higher. how much can my kt7 take?

I've seen people running them at 1200 Mhz + So you should have no problems if you have a good powersupply and good cooling. Why don't you just try and overclock that T-Bird 800 - My T-Bird 750 will do 980 Mhz.

The multiplier will go up to 12.5X, so with a 100MHz bus, 1250MHz. If you managed to get a 133MHz CPU bus...well I don't think any Athlon would work quite that high.

Yeah i'd like to overclock it, but as of right now i have generic cooling and don't really wanna fiddle with the copper bridges.

so i can get a cpu up to 1.25?
