I just bought a new Abit KT7-RAID to put in a Duron 650 OC to 950 that I got from compuwiz. He told me to run the CPU at 1.85 volts so that's what I set it at. But, the PC health status in the BIOS, the VIA hardware monitor, and Sandra all report the core voltage being at 1.9 volts, even though it's set at 1.85. So to test this out, I set the voltage to 1.8, and sure enough the BIOS and the software monitors all report the voltage as 1.85 now. The system is still perfectly stable, and quite a bit cooler now (the temp before was 110 and now it has gone down to 86 as I type this!!!!!). What is up with this? Why would the voltage be off by .05 when this mobo allows for such fine tweaking of the voltage?
