ABIT KT7 Raid Boot up problems

Hi all. I have a couple of problems. First off the motherboard will not recognize my geforce card. Its a gulliemont (Sorry for the mispelling. It would even get a signal to the monitor. So basically I cant see anything. I know it works because i tried it in another machine. I tried a old TNT card and it works in the KT7. Next problem or problems are booting up. The machine will see all my devices but thats it. It wont get past the post screen. Sometimes it does and then when it tries to boot up into windows 98 the screen goes dead. Also sometimes i need to turn off my power supply from the back switch to turn off the machine because the power button wont turn it off. Also some times the monitor wont get a signal from the vid card even if i use the tnt. Another problem is if i reset the machine the monitor turns off. Anyone have any ideas on any of these issues. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

It could be because of:
a>> Memory stick is not entirely in the slot( not locked )
b>> Videocard is not entirely in the AGP slot.
Cure: take it out, put back on, secure locks.
Let's see whether it will help

I've tried that like 3 times but I'm going to try again. I'm actually going rip the machine apart and try again. Can someone recommend a really nice fan. My chip is also running very hot with the fan I have now. Any advice for my problem or a new fan would be great

I have had the same problems. What I have done is change the core voltage value up one setting. Make sure that your memory settings match what your memory can handle. Lower your AGP apereture size, disable 4x AGP.

If this does not work try KT7 FAQ site.

I love my ABIT KT7, but I feel that it is too customizable (SoftMenu III) that people can get into trouble if they do not get their settings right.
