Abit KT7-Raid and my ignorance

I have an Abit KT7- Raid. I am trying to build the system using 2 x 30 Gig IBM hard Drives. I have enabled striping and have made one of the drives bootable. I have run Fdisk, partioned the disks and then formatted them with a 20 and 40 gig C: and D:. However when I try to install Windows ME the install tells me that it is copying the files needed to setup the system gets to 100% and the system hangs.

My question is have you come across anything like this or do you have any pointers to where I am going wrong.

Thanks

PS Am willing to accept that it's pilot error.😱

Time for a test flight.

Does it hang like this if you try to install ME on just ONE drive and there ISN'T a RAID installed?

I think your correct. Time for a gentle flight rather than the hoped for blast off. I will give it ago and see.

Thanks for your help 🙂
