abit kt7 raid and floppy problem

hi,

My problem is that the floppy on my system sometimes deosn't read or write. It also can't write over something that has been written on. i have changed drives but it is the same. I know it works since the drive can read a startup disk to setup windows.

please help if you can

and i have checked the floppy disk to see if its not write protected
 
Another kt7 with a floopy problem.Had the same problem with my first one.Rma it and the second one worked fine.Also had probs with the ide
 
may seem stupid but,i've used/seen/fixed abit kt7 god only knows how many times and the only floppy problem I had encountered is people stuffing the ide cables under the floppy(open bottom wheel) it would slow the floppy down making it sometimes work or not. Had this happen 3 times-------Ed

ps- abit is it!!!there is nothing else
