I am planning a Duron600/650... to go with either this motherboard

Problem is with all the excellent features of KT7 RAID, the Highpoint is the disturbing part. Is it STILL problematic? Or are there any other big problems?

How about Asus A7V? Is it problematic?

Which will be a better choice? Or should I consider MSI K7T pro2 instead?

I am in a delinma... help..

Also, which Duron should I go for since I am budget tight? I will be doing overclocking anyway...

Thanks..

There are no known problems with the new Highpoint HPT370 controller. I have been running this KT7 Raid for a few weeks now, I haven't ran into any problems with the board. Infact, its been great running it at 1Ghz.

I recommend any of the boards, if your looking to overclock(with ease), steer away from the A7V(due to the troublesome dipswitches) and look at either the MSI K7T Pro2 or the Abit KT7. Most people recommend both boards, and the MSI seems to be a favorite for stability and for being cheaper. Anand is currently using 4 KT7 Pros for the forum servers we are using right now ;) Again both boards are really good and stable. Just check which one is more affordable for you right now.

Well, in my country, all 3 motherboards are priced quite near each other... about +-10 bucks or so pending on brand.

So there is no problem with the highpoint? I thought ABit had problem with it in their last few motherboards?

Overall, from the 3, the best will be??

Another thing is that Abit has only 1 year warranty is it? I heard their support is no good
