I'll repeat an earlier reply for the same question: I had both boards, and went back to the Abit simply for the fact it had better memory scores in Sandra( about another 100 points!!!)
Guess I've built about a dozen or more systems with the KT7 (or RAID) and am about to build about another half dozen... all of the mobo's rock and I've had no problems with them.
Microstar Only.. If you would like to endlessly tweak and fiddle with it, to get marginal stability, go Abit. If you want to simply install the board and enjoy it, go Microstar. Yes, the Abit MAY clock in ~1-2% faster, but at the cost of stability.
