<< True but I've gotten my hands on about 6 Abit boards. All off them have had minor problems off one sort or the other.

Take for example two that would not boot at all, and no it wasn't my PWS. One had a bad AGP slot another board secondary IDE channel didn't work well.

With the one I have right now I think the themistor is broken the cpus have an alpha heatsink on them but they always report 45 degrees+ even when the room temperature is a nice 25 degress.

You just got the short end of the stick ;) So far, Abit has been nothing but good to me. So why should I bad mouth Abit if I haven't gotten a bad board from them--should I be against them just b/c others have had problems? I think not.

When I get a bad board from Abit, then I might change my mind :)

Killfile sorry,I forgot that you already posted that info on Abit prices at Dabs.It seems us Brits all think Dabs is one of the best
shopping sites for computer hardware.(I try to be more careful next time). It also sometimes hard to keep track on which Member says what,"put it down to old age".
LOL.....

dabs.com are great, right up to the point where you need some customer service. At that point, you just forget it. I still use them, of course ...
