ABIT KT7/MSI K7T for AMD..BUT?? What is best for Intel chip???

I see that most people choose between 3 boards for AMD chips (MSI, ABIT, and ASUS)K series boards; however, what is the best mobo for an Intel chip. If I was going to build a P3 1 gig machine, what would be my best bet for a mobo that would perform up to the AMD counterparts?

i'm biased to Abit so i say SA6R, but i've heard lots of good about the Asus Cusl2 series and my roomate has one and it seems to be pretty good...

i use a msi 6309 for my p3 600e oc to 800. most stable computer ive ever built hands down.
