ABIT KT7 I/O voltage

Hmm..I was just wondering what components the I/O voltage effects if i tweak it higher??? And what does it really do???

I believe it affects the installed cards pci/isa and the memory I remember reading that some where but I could be wrong.

I have a KT7A. But from what I understand, just as VCore helps the CPU, VIO helps the other components (i.e. AGP, PCI, and maybe memory...)
