I was wondering how if you cant overclock the FSB more than 110 on the KT7 then will good pc100 sdram due??? And does the Crucial ram work well in the KT7 any help would be great Thanks.

Both PC100 and PC133 RAM work on the board. You can also OC with both. However, with PC133, you will get a slight boost in speed.

Note:
At 110FSB,
PC100 setting will have your RAM run at 110MHz
PC133 setting will have your RAM run at 147MHz

hey paulip88
if you run the pc133 ram ... with the bios running pc133 ram...does the motherboard actually support 133 mhz bus?
i did this and jumped the fbs plus option to 4 and the fsb/pci to 101/33 and got from sisoft sandra ... 157mhz ... is this correct? just asking cuz someone told me this chipset doesn't support 133mhz...

Losty, if you have it set at FSB 101/33 + 4 and HST CLK + PCI CLK , your RAM would be running at 133 + 5 = the RAM speed at 138MHz

For example, mine is set at 105/35 + 4 = 109. RAM at 135 + 9 (RAM is at HST CLK + PCI CLK) = 144MHz.

EDIT: Sandra does not report the RAM speed correctly.

thanks...i thought it was funny looking...
didn't make sense to me at first!! yeah sandra has many bugs...
