Hello,
When I install the CPU on the ABIT KT133, I bent the cpu temperture sensor a little bit so I can put the CPU on the socket. Did anyone else have to do this?

Another thing, when I change the multiplier on my duron to .5 increments, I always get the lower multiplier.
(i.e. When I change to 9.5, but it always boots to 9.0)
Could this be because I didn't do the pencil trick correctly?

I had the same issue with the sensor, but it bent over just fine.

I did have some odd effects with the pencil trick ie. at first I could only clock to 650!

After doing it again I have full access to settings, so odd things can happen if you don't connect all contacts. Also used a rubber and a softer pencil to have another go.

What voltage did you have to use to get to 968 MHz? Mine goes to 850 on 1.5 volt default but runs at 51c so I will get some better cooling first, what do you use?

Carl, please check my modified profile for Duron600 configurations.
Glad to see others went through the same route benting the sensor and playing with pencils. :)

Now I have other questions:

Anyone know why my system hangs when FSB/PCI speed is above 33MHZ? BAD crashs everytime I do that! My system only boots if the PCI speed stays @33mhz, so I always had to adjust the independant FSB setting.

And how do you tell if you have PC133 SDRAM? Does this mean the FSB can max out to 133MHZ due the the RAM? What is this CAS2/CAS3 everyone talks about? My SDRAM is "suppose" to be PC133, but I can't really tell.

Thanks all!
