I've been using this board for more than a year and a half. For some reason recently the board's clock was getting quite bad at time keeping. The system was working perfectly fine other than this little annoying problem. Turned off the computer and I decided to swap a Battery from the board. I took out one of my older(but working) boards, took the battery and swapped them. No harm done right?

When I tried to fire it back up, nothing happens. So I was like "WTF??", so I took the original battery back and swapped them back. Still nothing. I tried just about anything, carefully took out the board from the case and tested with only CPU, RAM and Video card. CPU fan properly connected to FAN1 Header and made sure that there was heatsink contact with the CPU(so it won't fry). I tried resetting the CMOS. Nada.

I'm stumped! Did the BIOS just die?

Check to make sure nothing is shorting out the motherboard. Also check the ATX connector, make sure the cable from the PSU is firmly pluged into the motherboard.
